Parties

Bamboo Stack is a business name of BAM Technology Pty Ltd, ACN 667 342 707, ABN 23 667 342 707. Landsborough, Queensland, Australia. These terms are governed by Queensland law. The courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.

Scope and quote

Every engagement has a written scope and quote. The Order Form governs. If the scope changes, you get a revised quote in writing before the extra work starts.

Price and payment

Payment terms are set out in each quote. Prices exclude GST. GST applies to Australian clients only. If an invoice is more than 7 days overdue, services may pause until it is paid.

Client responsibilities

You give access to what the work needs, name one decision maker and answer questions within 2 business days. Delays on your side move the dates day for day.

Acceptance

You have 5 business days to test the deliverable against the acceptance list. After that it is deemed accepted.

Intellectual property

You own the deliverables once they are paid in full. Bamboo Stack keeps its tools, templates and know-how. Open-source components keep their licences.

Confidentiality

Both sides keep the other's confidential information confidential. This continues after the contract ends.

AI use

Deliverables may be drafted with AI tools and are checked by our team before they reach you. An AI phone line we build will always tell callers it is an AI.

Liability

Liability is capped at the fees paid in the prior 12 months. There is no liability for indirect loss. The guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded.

Termination

Either side can end an engagement with 14 days' written notice. You pay for work done up to that date.

Disputes

Talk first. If that fails, mediation in Queensland. If that fails, the courts.
